MARLBOROUGH RUGBY UNION.

The weekly meeting of the Marlborough Rugby Union took place last evening, when the following members were present: Messrs Corry (in the chair)., Thomson, Morrison, Kirby, Mowat, O'Neill (Waitohi), O'Dwyer, Fisher, and Spear (Pelorus Subunion).

Barker wrote in behalf of the Linkwater school, stating that it was understood that a sum of money had been granted by the Association to be used in supplying the different schools with footballs, and requesting that one be given the Linkwater. school. It was resolved to reply that cups had been supplied in place of footballs, according to a previous resolution of th© Union. GRACE'S DISQUALIFICATION. Mr Fisher moved that, as fresh facts had come to hand,'this'Union recommend the New, Zealand Union to remove the disqualification of : ' Mr H. Grace. , . This.was seconded by Mr J. Mowat, and on being put was lost by four votes to three. It was then moved by Mr Corry, and seconded by Mr Morrison, that Mr N. Simonseri and Mr A. Reade be disqualified for life for misrepresentation to Grace when they assured him that he was at liberty to play in a match in which the Union had forbidden him to play.—This was carried. On the motion of Mr Corry, it was resolved to request the' Chief Postmaster to inquire when a telegram dated 12th September was delivered to the Secretary of the Pelorus Union, Mr A. Reade. ANOTHER DISQUALIFICATION. A motion by Mr Corry, seconded by Mr Morrison, that J. Crook be disqualified for life for rough play in the match, played in Picton, was lost. It was resolved, on the motion of Mr Fisher, seconded by Mr Thomson, that Crook be disqualified until 31st December, 1908.
