DISCOVERY OF A BODY.
[press association.] OAMARU, Sept. 25. This morning a Maori discovered on one of the islands near the mouth of
the Waitaki River the body of a man in an advanced stage of decomposition. There is little doubt that the remains are those of Alexander Russell, who disappeared from Dalgleish's farm at Papaltaio on the 20th August.
