POSTAL HOLIDAY.
Thursday, the 26th September, Dominion Day, will be observed as a close holiday at all Post Offices in the dis-fcrict. Mails usually closed on Thursday morning, will close at 7 o'clock. There will be no delivery by the letter-carriers on Thursday, but a delivery of correspondence will be made over the public counter on Wednesday between 7 and 8 p.m. . The Telegraph Branch will be open from 9 a.ni; to, 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to midnight. Telegrams for transmission should be presented at the operatingroom door, side entrance.
