A BUILDING COLLAPSES

KELSON, Sept, 21. A windstorm •©£ unprecedented velocity swept over Taltaka in the early hours of yesterday morning. A large new two-storeyed building in the main street, which is being erected by Smith and Company as a sash-and-door factory completely collapsed, and is n«\v a heap of ruins. The building was roofed" and the external walls almost complete and in the painters' hands. The machinery and engines were installed, and in daily use. The machijiery is not much damaged, but the JV>ss of timber, roofing and labour is at over £100.
