[?BE3B ASSOCIATION.] GISBORNE, Aug. 8. A ten-roomed house owned by Mr R Little and occupied by Mrs Dalley, was deployed by fire this morning The insurance on the building is £400 in the State office, and on the furnilure and effects £250 in the Standard. A lodger was painfully scorched in escaping.

The draping of the interior of St. Mary's was a feature of the solemn memorial service this morning.
