PELORUS RUGBY UNION.

A meeting of the Pelorus Rugby Union was held at Canvastown on Saturday evening, Mr A. W. Dillon presiding. The secretary was instructed to rorward to the Marlborough Rugby Union the names of all the players under the Union, and to convey to Mr J. Dalton the hearty thanks of the Union for his generous donation. It was resolved that a Havelock player be warned about his play on the 13th July, and thabif any other player is reported to the Union hb will be severely dealt with. The Rai delegate notified that his club would forfeit their match against Canvastown. It was decided to hold a seven-a-side tournament later on in the season, and to send a representative team to Nelson about the end of August.
