QUEENSLAND PARLIAMENT,
A PROPOSED COALITION.
tPRESS ASSOCIATION.!
BRISBANE, July 25. In the" Assembly to-day, the Premier (Mr Kidston) moved the postponement of the debate on the Ad-dress-in-Reply till Tuesday. Mr Kidston stated that there were three parties of almost equal strength in the House. He thought that one of the parties in opposition would have made a pretence of supporting the Government. Had they done so, it would have been his duty to retain office. He moved the postponement of the debate to give him an opportunity further to consider the position. The House accordingly adjourned until Tuesday. It is understood that a coalition will be arranged between Mr Philp (Leader of the Opposition) and Mr Kidston.
