The Daily- Express's Berlin correspondent states that a powerful German syndicate is endeavouring to acquire a controlling interest in the Marconi Qompany and dependent companies. The recent Convention, continues the correspondent, compelled the Marconi stations to accept messages from German and other 'rival systems, thus depriving the British company of its predominance. The German syndicate, understanding the Marconi Company's chargin if the British Government agrees to the Convention, has chosen this opportunity to bid for the Marconi properties. = . .
