PASSENGERS v. PRODUCE.

A WARNING TO CANADIANS. [PKESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received June 8, 8.55 a.m.) OTTAWA, June 7. Mr 11. L. Borden, Leader of the Opposition in the Canadian Parliament, addressing his constituents, referred to the " all-red" mail-route. He urged caution in the matter, on the ground that not one per cent, of Canadians crossed the Atlantic yearly, while 75 per cent, were interested in freight rates and cold storage. The best possible passenger-service, said Mr Borden. was desirable, but not at the expense of the farmers and producers, or of trade with the Motherland.
