DEATH OF A MINER

WESTPORT, June 8. A miner named John Leece, about 45 years of age, a married man with ten children, died in the hospital yesterday as the result of a fall of coal in the West-port Coal Company's mine. The deceased was formerly a newspaperproprietor in New South Wales.
