THE 45th WEEK

The number of eggs laid during the 45th week of the New Zealand Egglaying Competition was 1,305, an average of 13-05 per pen. This brings the grand total to date to 91,872, an average per pen of 918-72. The highest layings for the week were : —Brow Poultry Farm's Silver "Wyandottes (Waipawa) 26 T. B. Brooks's White Leghorns (South Australia) 26, Miss V. Murphy's Silver Wyandottes (Blenheim) 26, W. Middleton's White Leghorns/(Blenheim) 26, L. C. Servajean's White Leghorns 25, G. H. Mogridge's Buff Orpingtons (Blenheim) 25, Bythell and Co's Silver Wyandottes (Blenheim) 25. The leading aggregates to date are :—T. B. Brooks's White Leghorns (South Australia) 1277, Marlborough A. and P. Association's White Leghorns 1207, A. E. Thomson's White Leghorns (Blenheim) 1178, L. C.
