CLEARING SALE

Dalgety and Company, Ltd., report having held a clearing sale in their Upper Hutt yards on account of the estate of the late J. Benge, and Mr J. T. Benge. There was a good attendance of buyers, and almost,the whole yarding was-" quitted at satisfactory prices. The following were the prices realised:—Best cows £5 12s 6d to £6, medium £4 3s to £4 17s 6d, inferior £2 to £3 15s; 2j-year-old heifers £3 7s fid to £4 2s 6d; yearlings to 18-months 2 guineas; draught horse, £35; halfdraught £15; hacks £2 10s to £o 17s 6d; drays 10 guineas to £12.
