SCHICKER COMMITTED FOR

TRIAL

NEW PLYMOUTH, July 11. At the Eltham S.M. Court yesterday Car] Schicker was committed to the Supreme Court at New Plymouth on a charge of the murder of John Rollin at Kaponga on the 30th June. The parties were Swiss milkers, and it is alleged that during a quarrel-over a girl accused struck Rollin over the head with an axe-handle, the blow proving fatal.
