Leadley said:—The conclusions I have arrived at may be summarised very briefly as rollows:—lst. This year we have little or no exportable surplus of wheat or oats. -2nd. We need not fear any appreciable interference with our markets by Australian competition. 3rd. The failure of the potato crop will increase the consumption of wheat. 4th.
