FIRS AT GERALDINE.

INCEDIARISM SUSPECTED. [PHESa ASSOCIATION.] , TIMARtJ, June 7. ' A disastrous fire occurred at Geraldine at 4 o'clock this morning, when the Canterbury Farmers' Co-operative Association's place of business, together with all the stock, was com--pletely destroyed. The building is said to have been left safe when the employees, who had been back working, left at 9.30 last night, and it is suspected that the fire was deliberately caused by some person. The insurances total about £6000,. all with the Canterbury Farmers' Marine Insurance Company. It is impossible yet to estimate the loss to the Association.
