THE SITUATION IN RUSSIA.

PROMISCUOUS ARRESTS. AN EXPEDIENT FOR PROCURING TRIAL. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received June 8, 8.40 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, June 7.

Fifty persons have been imprisoned at Ila'dom since January. They are not aware why they were arrested. They refuse food with a view to hastening their trials. Some are already delirious. Their relatives are urging the Duma to interpellate the Government on the matter.
