WELLINGTON, May 14. Following are the rough census results of several boroughs v for 1906, showing an increase or decrease as the case may be, compared with the census returns for 1901 .-—Nelson 8192, increase 1182; Wanganui 8216, increase 887; Ashburton 2563, increase 241; Groytown 1112, decrease 10; Milton 1284, increase 43; Woodville 1110, increase 184; Pahiatua 1369, increase 160; Carterton 1407, increase 292.
DANNEVIRKE, May. 14. The census returns for the Borough of Dannevirke gives the population as 3434, made up of 1801 males and 1633 females. This is an increase of 1119 on the figures of the last census.
