WELLINGTON, Feb. 26. The weather is fine though dull for the cricket match. Yesterday's heavy rain has slightly affected the wicket, which is a bit dead and not likely to improve under the drying sun. At 1 p.m, Wellington had lost two wickets for 108—Redgrave G6, Hutchings 7. Hickson and J. Blacklock are batting. At the luncheon adjournment the score was four for 172—Hickson 39, Barron 21, Blacklock (not out) 38.
At 3 p.m. the score was four wickets for 218—Blacklock (not out) CO, Tucker (not out) 17; extras 8.
