INVERCARGILL, Dec. 16, At a coroner's inquest touching the death of Mrs Margaret Winsloe, who was fatally injured by the shaft of a light cart which came into collision with the motor-car in which she was. riding in Gore, the jury found that deceased met her death by being struck by the shaft of a trap driven by John Whittingham, and that Whittingham did, riot exercise sufficient' care in the management of the horse. No bla,me was attached to the driver of the motor.

Whittingham will be charged with n.'anslaughter. Mr Winsloe admitted that the collision might have been avoided if the driver of the motor hadi kept nearer the kerb.
