EGG-LAYING COMPETITION IN AUCKLAND.
It is now definitely decided that a& egg-laying competition will commence in Auckland next April. At a meeting of the committee of the Poultry Association, held on Tuesday evening, arrangements were made for a very strong Guarantee fund to finance the competition, and as soon aa a suitable site is chosen from those under offer, | the aub committee will at once frame rules and regulations for carrying out the test.
