DISMISSAL OF A DRIVER,

Chbistohurch, June 8. A report regarding the accident at the opening of the tramway to Papanni on Monday was submitted by the traffic manager to the Board today. The report was taken in Committee, and on resuming the Chairman stated that the Board had decided that it re* gretted it was unable to see its way to reinstate the driver concerned as a motorman.
