DAMAGE AT WARNAMBOOL. CHURCH* SPIRE THROWN OUT OF PLUMB. Press Association, Electric Telegraph* Copyright, Received July 16,1.15 a.m.* Melbourne, July 15. The seismograph at the Observatory recorded tremors about the time of the quakes in the western district. The vibrations registered lasted twelve minutes, but only for a few seconds was the shook sharp. Many windows were broken at Warnambool, and walls cracked. The spire of St. Joseph's Catholic Church was thrown out of plumb. Monuments in the cemetery were shifted, some being overthrown.
