STOCK SALE.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company offerad a mixed entry of cattle, horses and sheep, etc., at their Blenheim yards yesterday afternoon. The cattle were a particularly well-grown and good conditioned lot, and sold readily. The sheep all changed hands at prices quite equal to late sales. Horses were neglected, notwithstanding that some really useful sorts were submitted. Prices were as follows: —

Cattle.-—Calves, at 355; 10 to 12 months old, 4.0a ; 1 to 2-year old, £3 to £3 7s 6d; 3-year-old, £4 7s 6d; dry cows, £3. Sheep.—l 76 lambs at 9s 3d ; 60 lambs at 10s 3d ; 50 merino ewts, aged, at ss. Turkeys at 4s 9d per head.
