NELSON CLAIMS.

Nelson, July 14. A large and representative meeting, promoted by the Inland Communication League and Farmers' Union, was held at Wakefleld last evening. Earnest addresses, advocating the construction of a coach road to Hanmer Springs, and the completion of the Buller railway, were given. It was decided to co-operate with the Nelson meeting held previously, and a deputation representative of town and country interests was appointed to wait on the Government and point out the justice of the claims, and the unfulfilled pledges of many years past.
