Tiie New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report :~ At our fortnightly sale to day we offered about 1300 skins and 15 bales wool. There was a good attendance of buyers, and brisk competition for every lot. Prices were in some instances higher than at previous sale.

We qu©te: — Sheepskins: Merino, none offering; half bred 6d to O|(J ; fine crossbred, 5d to 5.'-; coarsecrossbreds, 4jd to 4fd; shortwoolled skins, 3|d to 4d; broken an inferior, 2d to 3)d; lambskins, 4d to s£d per lb ; pelts, 3d to Is 3d each ; green and salted skins, 2s to 3s 4d each.
