IN pursuance of "The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1900," I, John Terky, Returning Officer appointed for the Marlborougb Industrial District, do hereby give notice that an election will be held for the return of Four Members to serve as a Board of Conciliation for tbe said Industrial District, at the Supreme Court Office, Blenheim, on the Eighth day of June, 1903, between the hours of 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. The vote of each Industrial Union entitled to vote shall bo signified by voting paper under the seal of the Union and the hand of the Chairman and Secretary. The voting paper must be lodged with or transmitted by post or otherwise to me, at my office, Government Buildings, Blenheim, so as to reach there not later than 5 o'clock in the afternoon of the day of the election. Candidates must be nominated for election in such manner as the rales of the nominating Industrial Union may prescribe; or, if there be no such rule, nominations must be made in writing under the seal of the Union and the hand of the Chairman or Secretary. Each nomin. ■ tion must be lodged with me not later than 5 p.m. on the Fourth day of June, acd must be accompanied by the written consent of tho persons nominated. Provided that if the number of persons validly nominated do not exceed the number to bo elected, such persons will at once be dealared elected.
