Louis Fournier, a youDg painter, and Paris correspondent of the Pall Mall Gazette, states that Harold Barker, of Sydney, who died at Rennes of typhoid fever a week ago, bequeathed him one million and a-half sterling, besides an estate in Westmoreland.
Barker's sister asserts there is a later will, not produced, which divides the property between herself, Fournier and Comtesse Magendie, the future mother-in-law of Fournier.
