Dr Neligan, Hhhop elect of Auckland, was consecrated at St. Mary's Cathedral to day before an immense congregation. Tho Bishops of Christchui'ch, Dunedin, Nelson and Waiapu took part, besides a large procession of clergy and ofticials.
Lord Kaufuilv attended, and the congregation included Non Conformist representative ministers. Admission waa by ticket. A thousand were refused for want of space. Bishop J uliua preached.
