At tho Supremo Court to day tho hearing was concluded of tho case Corby v. Macarthy, claim for £1000 damages for broach of covenant in connection with rebuilding tho hotel at Newtown. The jury awarded plaintiff £156 damages lor loss of premises, and £311 for loss of profits and inconveniouce.

Counsel for defendant will tuovo to have the judgment set asido on tho ground that the amount awarded under the second head was against tho weight of the evidence.
