Poultry Society. — At a wellattended meeting of the Poultry Society it was reported poultry-breeding had increased, and the quality had greatly improved in the district since last year's show. The meeting expressed itself pleased to learn that so many fanciers had taken up the hobly. No doubt the Society will do all it can to encourage them. Another meeting takes place this week for the purpose of considering several alterations in connection with the show.
