A quiet but pretty wedding (writes cur correspondent) was solemnised at the Methodist Church, Havelock, on Tuesday last, when Mr Lewis Stuart, third son of Mr James Stuart, of Fitzroy Bay, Pelorus Sound, was married Miss Bra Muncaster, eldest daughter of Mr Georae Muncaster, of Nelson, and niece of Mr Edward Muncaster, a former well-known resident of Blenheim. The ceramony, which was performed by the Rev. W. J. Williams, Chairman of the Nelson distriot, was attended by a large number of relatives and close friends of the contracting parties, who wore at its conclusion the gue»tsof the bridegroom at the Commercial Hotel, where the hostess, Mrs Duggs*n, had prepared breakfast in honor of the occasion. The bride, who was fciven away by her {father, was attractively attired in a costume of white muslin, with velvet picture hat, and was attended by her sister, Miss Mylrea Muncaster, gownad in white spotted net and whit* Gainsborough hat, and both carried bouquets of white chrysanthema and coamooa. The bridesmaid wore also a gold wish-bone brooch, the present of the bridegroom. Mr J. McMahon, of Kenepuru. acted as best man, and at the breakfast the Rev. H. Foston proposed felicity to the newlymarried pair, apologising also for tne absence of the Rev. Williams, who had left by coach for Nelson immediately after the ceremony. Mr George Mills proposed the toast of the bridesmaid, which was acknowledged by Mr J. McMahon, and the health of parents of the bride and groom, proposed by Mr Ralph Mills, was responded to by Mr Muncaster. During the afternoon Mr and Mrs Stuart left by oil-launch for their home in the Pelorus Sonnd, the bride's travelling dress being of green calendered cloth with white lace yoke and vest, and large black picture hat. The cake, a massive confection of three tiers, was the present of the bride's aunt, Mrs Mylrea, of Nelson.
