An inquest was held at Burnham in connection with tb,e death of James Denny who was found drowned in a tank at the Industrial School.

, The manager of the school stated that the boy had been of weak intellect, was of a morose and sullen disposition, and guilty of bad habits. The list of punishments showed that deceased had been flogged sine© January, 1902, four times for absconding, and since his admission in March, 18S9, he had absconded twelve times.
