EMPLOYMENT OF WHITE
DRIVERS.
Received April 15, 8.22 a.m. Sydney, April 15.
As a step towards a " White Australia," the largest camel proprietor in the western districts has replaced the whole of the Afghan drivers by whites.
The employment of camels in the far interior during the last few years, especially since the reign of the drought, has greatly increased, largely superseding other methods of carriage.
