At a meeting held at Dingwall, the birthplace of the late Sir Hector Macdonald, it was agreed that the local committee should co - operate with other bodies in erecting a Macdonald Memorial at Dingwall.
The invasion of Dean Cemetery by crowds of people has compelled the authorities at Edinburgh to insist that any society placing wreaths on the late General's grave shall provide more polioe protection. The New Zealand Gaelic Society and many other
societies acquiesced.
