M. Revoil, the Governor of Algeria, resigned on the eve of President Loubet's starting on a visit to Africa, owing to M. Combes implying in the Chamber of Deputies that M. Revoil's relations were concerned in an intrigue intended to create an administrative scandal injurious to the Government.
