WRECKS AND DAMAGE TO
PROPERTY.
Received March 3, 8.45 a m. London, March 2.
Twenty-five deaths have resulted from the gale and thirty-three wrecks.
The damage to churches, factories and farms amounts to hundreds of thousands.
The dominion liner Merion is ashore at Roches Point, Queenstowe. Ninety passengers are aboard.
Germany, France, and Holland have suffered severely by the gales.
