Melboubne, September 30,
Mr Deakin (Acting-Premier) has supplied the Federal House with information contained in an official letter which he has received regarding tb© condition of the labor market in South
Africa.
The gist of it is that from twelve thousand to fifteen thousand people, including hundreds of Australians, are waiting in the coastal towns for permits to proceed inland. Mr Deakin's opinion is that there are no opportunities for Australians in South Africa.
