The latest returns show the position, of parties to be:—Government 57,. Labor H, Opposition 14. Of 10 seatsstill in doubt the Government willprobably win 8.
Mr Kirton, the only Minister opposed, was re elected. The defeated, incloded ex-Minister. Gurr, and Messrs* Barton and OnttritQ. -The Labor Party will be increased by three or four.
