Penalties.—Flat Races—The win ncr of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs; and of any additional race a farther penalty of 61bs. Horses handicapped at Bst lOlbs or over to carry only half the above penalties. 3. Hardies—The winner of any hurdle race after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of lOlbs ; and for any additional hurdle race 71bs extra. 4. A winner of any Trotting Race after declaration of handicaps to be re-handicapped. Definition of i"Hack. —A Hack is a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective value of 200 soys, up to date of nomination, since Ist August, 1899.
