THE THOROUGHBRED STALLION KING'S OWN (King Cole-Contessa, full brother to Hillstone) WILL stand this season at Ren-. wioktown, and at the Club Stables, Blenheim, and travel the district where inducement is offered. From his pedigree it can be seen that King's Own has the most«lassioal strains of blood running through bis . veins. Contessa produced those good horses Princess Cole and HHlstono, both being full brother and sister to King's Own. His sire, King Cole, was a great horse of his day, having won in England the Ascot Derby, Palace Stakes, and the Cumberland Plate; in the latter event defeating the Derby winner, King Craft, at weight for age.
