The annual meeting of shareholders in the Wairarapa Farmers' Co Opera tive Association was held to day. The report and balance sheet showed that the year's operations had been most successful. The Directors recommended the following allocation, which was adopted:—Payment of- dividend at the rate of 6 per cent; a bonus on the capital of 3 per cent; a bonus on the shareholders purchases of 3 per cent; a bonus to the employees on their salaries of 3 per cent; a bonus to the heads of those departments which have shown a substantial increase of trade during the year ; and to carry £1017 to the reserve, so as to make it an even sum of £10,000. After paying the Government tax and the honorarium to the directors there will remain a sum of £6000 to be carried forward to next year's profit and loss account. The directors, Messrs H. G. Williams, C. B. Pharazyn and A. W. Cave, who retired by rotation, were re elected unopposed.
