FIRE AT NAPIER.

Ooptjrigiit. . - Napier, October 1. An eight-roomed building on Chaucer Koad in course of enlargement was destroyed by fire early this morning. A strong westerly wind was -Mowmg at the time, *nd the Royal Hotel had a narrow escape, Car Pe^ 8 + em Plo^ on tlie building lost all their tools. The house, which was owned by **c Job Johns estate, was insured for 4.150 in the Norwich Union.
