A BOY'S GREAT WORK.
A learned philosopher was one day walking along an ocean beach when he became interested in the peculiar action of a small boy. The child had dug a hole in the sand, and, with his little toy bucket, was busily running down to the water and carrying some to the hole into which he poured it. At last the old gentleman asked him the purpose of his labour, ar.d the child said: "Oh, I'm emptying dat dere into dis here." Ifc required no hard thinking for the student of the whyfor and the wherefore to tell the infant that he would never succeed in transferring the ocean into that small hole. It is also impossible for us to tell how many have been cured of disease by Dr. Morse's Indian Root -Pills, any more than we know the number of grains of sand in Sahara. Now and again we get letters of gratitude, and of these we have a few thousands. Many remain unpublished. Many we give to the world. " For the past twelve months I have been a sufferer from piles," states Mr Charles Morrison, who resides at # 72 Webb Street, Fitsroy, Vie. " I was* under several doctors during that period, but received no permanent cure. A Mend of mine one day, in the course of conversation, advised me to give your Dr Morse's Indian Root Pills a trial, which I did, and I am very happy to be able to say they havo made a thorough cure of mo. I might state that I had only taken three bottles in all. The first two or three doses gave me relief. Your are liberty to make what use you like of this, as it may be the means of helping other sufferers."
