The Earl of Dudley, who has jnst taken up his duties as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, in receiving the representatives of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, said the Government was, favorably dispo ed towards a Bill to obviate the inconvenience and expense of the private Bills procedure.
The new coal-field recently discovered on Lord Dudley's Himley estate, in Staffordshire, is estimated to give a profit of nearly £40,000 yearly.
