In the Supreme Court to-day Joseph Wilson was convicted of assaulting: Tapita Matina on the 9th of August with intent to commit the theft of a purse and £5 in money. The prisoner, who had two previous convictions against him for theft, was sentenced to two years' hard labor. * '
