LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
The Council met at 2.30 p.m.
A resolution was passed on the motion of the Hon Mr Jones asking the Government, in view of the alarming reports of the Inspector of Police and the City Engineer of Wellington as to the seriously unsatisfactory condition of a large number of hotels in Wellington, to' take steps to secure such reforms as may be necessary. The Statutes Repeal Bill and Loan Bill passed the final stage 3.
