people.
His Majesty has bestowed on the Archbishop of Canterbury the Royal Victoria chain, an order which the King has founded for bestowal on special occasions.
The streets of London were thronged * last evening to view the illuminations. The crowds were denser than on Peace night. All vehicular traffic was suspended.
