Perth, July 5.
A domestic tragedy has oacurred at Leederville, a suburb of this city, where a man named Samuel Peters literally hacked his wife to death with a tomahawk. Her body was almost severed from her body.
Tho couple had been living unhappily together.
Adelaide, July 5.
A woman named Priddle has been, murderously assaulted with a tomahawk at Hindmarsh, two and a half miles north-west of Adelaide. She sustained terrible injuries, and lies in a critical state.
The woman's husband has been arrested on suspicion.
