The Pacific cable being now outjof the hands of the contractors, whereby the delay and interruption to traffic through the daily testing have been removed, a more reliable and faster service is now possible. It has therefore been decided that from Tuesday, 13th May, all ordinary intercolonial cable messages, not marked by. the senders "via Extension" are to be routed " via Pacific " and transmitted accordingly.
