A BRITISH OFFICER KILLED.
Received June 12, 10.85 a.m. London, June 11. Lieut.-General Methuen was engaged on Friday ten miles south of Heilbron. Colonel Baird Douglas and fifteen Derbyshire militia men were killed on Thursday at Roodeval, and Colonel Wilkinson and 59 privates wounded.
